We have known for the longest time that we are effected by all kinds of moods and states of consciousness which fluctuate and change. On the darker end of the spectrum, we can be afflicted by depression, anxiety, or hopelessness. We also are familiar with the state of consciousness we call "normal." In recent years, more and more people are also becoming familiar with states of "awakening" and the flowering of the heart.
We already know that depression and anxiety are caused by, and also cause, specific imbalances in the brain. We are also aware that the state of conciousness we call normal requires a certain balance of brain chemistry.
What is the biochemistry of awakening and expansive states of consciousness? What is the brain chemistry which causes us to experience love? Join Arjuna Ardagh in dialog with one of the most innovative pioneers in brain chemistry research and supplementation. |
