For almost 20 years we have been training people as facilitators of awakening. Historically, it was thought that awakening could only occur in a hierarchical, and very often patriarchal, context.

Coaching is a very beautiful relationship. It originates from the world of sports: a good swimming coach can guide an athlete to win a gold medal without being a great athlete themselves. It was Thomas J. Leonard who shifted the coaching analogy to other arenas: well-being, executive excellence. He coined the term "life coach." Coaching is beautiful because it is a totally respectful relationship. It is non-hierarchical.

We have transferred the coaching relationship from sports and from life-coaching to the awakening of consciousness. We have found ways that you can be a perfect instrument of awakening without needing to be in some final way "awakened."

He is author of 2005 National Best Seller “The Translucent Revolution,” as well as seven other books, and many audio and video products. He has appeared on television, radio and in print in more than 20 countries. Arjuna teaches the “Deeper Love” seminar with his wife Chameli. Together they live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, along with their two teenage sons.
